The
rumours
on
the
Hindi
remake
of
blockbuster
Tamil
movie
Ramana
are
never
ending.
Earlier,
it
was
said
that
Akshay
Kumar
would
star
in
the
movie
and
AR
Murugadoss,
the
creator
of
the
original
version,
was
likely
to
helm
the
project.
Later,
Shahrukh
Khan's
name
was
doing
rounds.
The
latest
buzz
on
the
movie
is
that
it
is
not
the
Ghajini
director
but
Jayam
Raja,
who
is
all
set
to
make
his
debut
in
Hindi
films
through
the
Hindi
version
of
Ramana.
Rumours
are
rife
that
Jayam
Raja
is
gearing
up
to
make
his
debut
in
Bollywood,
in
the
remake
of
Ramana.
As
the
plans
of
AR
Murugadoss
have
changed,
Jayam
Raja
has
entered
the
scene
from
nowhere
with
bang.
It
is
said
that
the
7aam
Arivu
filmmaker
is
planning
to
remake
his
forthcoming
Thuppakki
in
Hindi
with
Akki
stepping
into
the
shoes
of
Vijay.
Hence,
the
offer
has
come
Raja's
way.
Ramana
tells
the
story
of
a
professor,
who
uproots
corruption
by
building
a
strong
student
chain
of
network,
killing
the
bribe
takers
and
giving
justice
to
the
common
man.
It
was
made
in
several
languages
like
-
Tagore
in
Telugu,
which
starred
Chiranjeevi,
and
Vishusena
in
Kannada
starring
Dr
Vishnuvardhan,
and
all
the
versions
were
declared
blockbusters.
The
Hindi
remake
rights
are
acquired
by
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali.
