Jeeva's Mugamoodi bags clean chit from censor

The makers of Mugamoodi have kept their promise again, as the movie will hit the screens on the earlier announced date. Well, the movie starring Jeeva and Pooja Hegde will release worldwide on August 31.

The movie was censored on Tuesday (August 21) and it bagged the 'U' certificate without major cuts. Dhananjayan Govind, the head of UTV South, announced the news on Twitter. He wrote, "Mugamoodi is censored with U. Happy with no major cuts. The release is confirmed for 31st August."

Actor Jeeva also shared his excitement and tweeted, "Good news! #mugammodi censored 'U' certificate Censor officials appreciates the film... #Mugamoodi releases on 31st." The board members reportedly appreciated the movie and praised the flick for its content.

UTV Motion Pictures is probably only production house in South that is releasing the films on announced dates. When asked about delivering their products on time, Dhananjayan wrote, "UTV believes in announcing dates which are realistic and achievable & accordingly fixed Mugamoodi's date as 31st Aug, 2 months back..."

Mugamoodi is a superhero film directed by Mysskin and it also features Narain, Nassar, Selvaah, Girish Karnad, Anupama Kumar, Misha Ghoshal and others.
