Kamal
Hassan's
much-delayed
Vishwaroopam
was
censored
on
Tuesday
(October
9).
The
movie
has
bagged
'U/A'
certificate
with
minor
cuts
at
parts.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Vishwaroopam
surprisingly
went
to
censor
on
October
9.
The
timing
of
screening
the
film
to
the
Censor
Board
has
paved
way
for
many
questions.
The
film
was
announced
to
be
next
Pongal
release,
which
is
still
a
few
months
away,
and
the
latest
development
has
made
traders
to
wonder
whether
the
film
would
hit
screens
early.
Along
with
the
Tamil
version,
the
Hindi
version,
Vishwaroop
has
also
been
screened
for
censor.
The
Central
Board
of
Film
Certification
has
given
'A'
certificate
for
the
Bollywood
film.
However,
the
makers
of
the
movie
are
planning
to
release
the
album
of
the
film
in
November.
Shankar
Ehsaan
Loy
has
composed
music
for
both
Tamil
and
Hindi
versions.
As
per
the
earlier
report,
Vishwaroopam,
which
was
supposed
to
release
in
November,
will
hit
the
screens
in
January
2013.
The
movie
is
a
spy-thriller
starring
Kamal,
Pooja
Kumar,
Andrea
Jeremiah,
Rahul
Bose
and
others
in
the
cast.
In
addition
to
writing
the
story,
screenplay
and
dialogues,
he
has
taken
the
responsibility
of
directing
the
movie.
