Katy Perry to move her hips for a Tamil film

International singer Katy Perry, who thrilled the Chennai audience at the recently held inaugural function of Indian Premiere League (IPL), seems to have impressed Kollywood. Well, the 27-year-old will be soon offered a special number in an upcoming Tamil film.

Grapevine is abuzz with the news that Katy Perry will be signed for a hip-hop song in the forthcoming movie Karuppampatti. If everything goes according to the plan of the makers of the film, she will be dancing for the track, ‘Naughty raja raja…’ written by Kabilan, crooned by Bappi Lahiri and composed by Kannan.

It is said to be a stage song with 1000s of live audience cheering up for the singer. Other details about the number are yet to be revealed. The upcoming Tamil film is directed by Prabhu Raja Chozhan and it stars Ajmal Ameer-Aparna Bajpai in the lead roles.
