There
were
a
lot
of
reports
that
KS
Ravikumar,
who
was
supervising
Soundarya
in
her
debut
film
Kochadaiyaan
starring
Rajinikanth,
was
replaced
by
Madhesh.
However,
the
director
has
not
come
out
to
clarify
the
speculations.
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
KV
Ravikumar
has
said
that
he
was
with
Soundarya
Ashwin
at
every
stage
of
Kochadaiyaan.
Be
it
in
London
or
Kerala,
he
was
helping
her
on
technical
aspects
of
the
movie.
Now,
the
stories
of
he
being
replaced
by
Madhesh
has
taken
him
by
surprise.
He
claims
that
he
advised
Soundarya
Ashwin
to
rope
in
Madhesh
to
assist
her
in
the
project.
The
latter
is
said
to
be
a
good
friend
of
former.
Hence,
KS
Ravikumar
suggested
his
name.
Explaining
further,
he
said
that
his
Bollywood
movie
with
Sanjay
Dutt
has
kept
him
busy
of
late.
It
is
for
this
reason,
he
asked
Soundarya
to
rope
in
Madhesh,
as
KS
Ravikumar
could
not
give
100%
for
Kochadaiyaan.
However,
the
shooting
of
the
forthcoming
multilingual
film
is
completed
and
the
film
is
in
post-production
stage.
Rajinikanth's
Kochadaiyaan
is
a
mega-budget
flick,
which
also
features
Deepika
Padukone,
Jackie
Shroff,
Sarath
Kumar
and
others
in
the
cast.
It
is
a
period
film
that
is
inspired
by
Pandya
king
Kochadaiyaan
Ranadheeran,
and
it
is
a
fictional
account
of
the
ruler.
