Reaching out to the large audience is the mantra of the day. In order to attract the attention of NRIs, the Kollywood filmmakers are exploring best ways to get publicity not only in Tamil Nadu but also in other countries. First, it was Gautham Menon, who created history by launching the audio of his Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa in London followed by Rajinikanth's Endhiran, the audio of which was released in Malaysia. Now, Surya's Maatraan is set to join the list!

The buzz is that the makers of the film have decided to launch the audio of Maatraan, which was reportedly supposed to release in Chennai on July 24, in Singapore. The music will be officially launched on August 9 at a grand event that will be attended by the entire cast and crew of the movie. The music has been composed by Harris Jayaraaj and the audio rights are with Sony Music, which bought it for Rs 1.20 crore.

Maatraan directed by KV Anand is a high-voltage action film starring Surya and Kajal Aggarwal. Sachin Khedekar, Ravi Prakash, Thara and Vivek are in the cast. The movie is expected to release in September.
