Maattrraan to see the light of day on Oct 12

Surya's most-awaited movie of the year, Maattrraan will hit the screens as per the earlier plan. Well, it will see the light of day on October 12 as the Navaratri treat for the fans of Ghajini star.

Sources have confirmed that the Maattrraan team is working hard to deliver the product on time. They are aware of other big releases like Thaandavam, Thuppakki and Vishwaroopam, which are expected to release in a gap of 40 days in October-November 2012. However, the flick has to be censored by the Regional Censor Board at least before three weeks, leaving the movie bosses to approach the board in this week.

The actor will be seen in dual roles of conjoined twins in Maattrraan. The movie is written by SuBha and directed by KV Anand, who had earlier delivered a hit with Surya in Ayan. It is produced by AGS Entertainment and also features Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek, Sachin Khedekar, Tara and others in the cast.
