Gautham Menon and Ilaiyaraaja's first-ever combo film Neethaane En Ponvasantham (NEP) will have a grand audio release in September. The duo will come on stage on September 1 for a live concert where they will unveil the music of the forthcoming bilingual movie.
The music of Neethaane En Ponvasantham is one of the highly-anticipated albums of the year. Ilaiyaaraja, the Music Maestro of Tamil cinema, used harmonium to compose songs in Chennai before recording the background score for the same at Angel Studios, London.
Ilaiyaaraja has scored eight songs for which Na Muthukumar has penned the lyrics. The audio rights of Neethaane En Ponvasantham is acquired by Sony Music.
Reports say that Gautham Menon has decided to offer a red-carpet welcome to Ilaiyaraaja in order to make it a memorable event. However, the teaser and the song 'Saindhu saindhu...', which were released on internet, are getting massive response from the audience.
Neethaane En Ponvasantham stars Jeeva in the Tamil version, Nani in Telugu and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the Hindi version. Samantha is playing the female lead in all three instalments.
