attend
the
award
ceremony
held
at
the
Jawaharlal
Nehru
Indoor
Stadium
on
June
17
due
to
his
busy
schedule.
However,
the
actor
received
it
today
at
his
office
in
Chennai.
A
source
close
to
the
development
revealed,
"Ajith
Kumar
was
presented
two
awards
(Best
Villain
and
Favourite
Actor)
by
Mr
Sriram,
the
channel
head
of
Star
Vijay
Televisions
along
with
Mr
Pradeep
Milroy
Peter,
programming
head
and
Mr
Mahendran,
the
Vice
President.
The
actor
was
happy
to
collect
the
awards
and
he
thanked
the
channel
for
presenting
the
same."
The
Vijay
Awards
jury
comprised
filmmaker
KS
Ravikumar,
cinematographer
Rathinavel,
actors
Yugi
Sethu,
Nadhiya
and
Lizzy
Priyadarshan.
While
Vikram
was
honoured
with
the
Best
Actor
award
for
his
acting
in
Deiva
Thirumagal,
Anjali
bagged
Best
Actress
for
her
performance
in
Engeyum
Eppodhum.
