Vijay doing charity or attending mass marriage is not new. The actor, whenever gets time, involves himself in doing welfare activities and never loses opportunity to meet his fans.
This time, it was the turn of Hosur people to meet the Ilayathalapathy, as the actor visited the place to attend the marriage of fifteen couples. The place was decorated with the cut-outs and banner of Vijay, and Hosur had a festive look.
The wedding was held a few days ago in a grand manner. The function was kick-started by Vijay by lighting a lamp. Soon after that the marriage of 15 couples were performed. The Velayudham star gifted them home appliances and blessed them.
Vijay met them personally and presented mementos for each newly married couple. The actor also posed for the camera and had a good time at the function.
The disappointing part was that Vijay could not address the public due to some technical glitches.
In order to make his fans happy, Vijay met his fans in group, post the wedding.

In the recent times, Vijay has graced a few mass marriages. In August 2012, his fans association Vijay Makkal Iyakkam organised the wedding at Sathuvachery Rangapuram Krishna Kalynamandam, Chennai for 11 couples.
However, on the professional front, Vijay is gearing up for the release of his much-hyped movie Thuppakki, which is releasing on November 11.
Vijay, for the first time, has joined hands with AR Murugadoss and has paired up with Kajal Aggarwal.
Thuppakki is an action-thriller directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. The movie is set in Mumbai and Ilayathalapathy plays the role of a cop.
