Prabhu invites Kamal Hassan for Kumki audio launch

The Kumki unit along with Sivaji Prabhu met Kamal Hassan on Monday (23 July) to invite him for the audio launch function of the Kumki. The actor will be releasing the music of the movie at Sathyam Cinemas on July 26.

Sources have said that Sivaji Prabhu, Lingusamy and Prabhu Solomon met Kamal Hassan at his office yesterday and invited the actor. The Universal Star had confirmed his presence to the makers of the film last week and he was invited officially by handing over the specially-designed invitation on Monday.

While Kamal Hassan will be launching the audio album of Kumki, the first copy of the audio will be received by Surya. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth, like Kamal Hassan, who had agreed to be part of the event, will be missing the occasion as his plans got changed recently. Hence, Rajinikanth has decided to send a video clipping wishing good luck to Vikram Prabhu for his debut movie Kumki.

Vikram Prabhu, the son of Prabhu and the grandson of legend Sivaji Ganeshan, starrer Kumki, also features newcomer Lakshmi Menon, Thambi Ramaiah and Asvin Raja in the cast. It is produced by director Lingusamy and directed by Prabhu Solomon. It has music by D Imman.
