Grapevine has it that AVM Saravanan has made an attempt to bring the living icons of Tamil cinema together again. Rajini, Sarvanan and Kamal had met at the producer's place recently and they shared their wish to join hands again.
AVM Saravanan reportedly came to conclusion that it is only possible by K Balachander, the mentor of Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan, to bring them together. It is noted that the trio had earlier delivered hits like Ninaithale Inikkum and Thillu Mullu.
However, Pushpa Kandasamy, daughter of K Balachander, has expressed her happiness over the idea but her father has no plans of directing a film with the superstars as of now. In the present situation, it is unlikely to bring Rajini-Kamal, who have also acted together in Apoorva Raagangal, Vayasu Pilichindi, Anthuleni Katha, etc.
Currently, Rajinikanth is busy with Kochadaiyaan and his next project will be its sequel Rana. Whereas, Kamal is gearing up for the release of Vishwaroopam and he has agreed to do a film with Aascar Ravichandran.
