Recuperating from a reported kidney ailment, superstar Rajinikanth today said he would soon be back with his latest venture Kochadaiyaan. "I will be back soon. Very soon shooting will start," he told reporters here after handing over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Chief Minister Jayalalithaa towards cyclone Thane relief.
Describing the meeting as a "courtesy call," he said Rajinikanth had called on her for the first time after his recovery. The superstar had suffered a health scare last year when he fell sick during the shoot of Rana and was admitted to two hospitals in Chennai before being flown out to Singapore for treatment. He will now act in Kochadaiyaan directed by younger daughter Soundarya, which is said to be the first 3D film in India with "performance capturing technology."
Kochadaiyaan also features Sarath Kumar, Sneha, Aadhi and Shobha. The makers of the film are yet to finalise the female lead, who will pair up with Rajinikanth in the film, and Katrina Kaif is one of the contenders.
