Samantha bags Surya's film!

Despite missing out big movies of Mani Ratnam (Kadal) and Shankar (I), Samantha is on a roll. The actress, who has been having dream run in both Tamil and Telugu films, has now reportedly bagged a movie starring Surya.

If reports are to be believed, Samantha has been approached by none other than N Lingusamy for his next movie starring Surya. After considering couple of names, the director zeroed in on the Naan Ee actress. Recently, he has offered the female lead to her and in all probabilities, she is likely to give green signal to this project.

Meanwhile, Samantha has five movies in her kitty. While she has only one Tamil film - Neethaane En Ponvasantham - in her hands, the actress is completely busy in Telugu film industry with films like Autonagar Surya, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Nandini Reddy Project. The actress has also signed a Bollywood film titled Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau.

On the other end, Surya has wrapped up the shooting of his next release Maattrraan. He has recently started his other project Singam 2 directed by Hari.
