Siddharth to star in Vicky Donor remake

After Delhi Belly, now Shoojit Sircar's recent hit Hindi film Vicky Donor seems to be ready to be made in Tamil film industry. Well, the buzz is that the makers of Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi are keen to remake the film in Kollywood and cast Siddharth in the lead role.

Producer Sasikanth Sivaji has confirmed the news to a leading daily that they saw Vicky Donor on the first day and the film impressed them. Now, they are in talks with the production house for the Tamil-Telugu remake rights.

It is a give-and-take policy between the makers of Vicky Donor and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi where both the parties are negotiating to exchange the rights of their films. However, Saikanth has claimed that they will finalise the cast and crew once they acquire the rights and the story of the film will be tweaked to suit the local sensibilities.

Vicky Donor starring Ayushman Khurana, Yamil Gautham and Annu Kapoor, narrates the love story of a Punjabi boy and a Bengali girl, set against the backdrop of sperm donation. Vicky is a good-for-nothing, jobless fellow until he donates his sperms for good, under the influence of Dr Chaddha, who runs an infertility clinic in Delhi.
