SS Rajamouli's Chatrapathi becomes Chandramouli in Tamil

SS Rajamouli's astounding success with Naan Ee, the Tamil version of Eega, is paving way for his earlier movie to dub in Tamil. Well, his blockbuster Chatrapathi is being dubbed in Tamil as Chandramouli.

The dubbing rights have been acquired by Sathish of Sathish Film Corporation and he is gearing up to release in September. According to him, the film is a commercial entertainer, which has all the necessary ingredients of success like love, action, romance, sentiment and comedy. It is also noted that SS Rajamouli's blockbuster Telugu movie Magadheera was dubbed in Tamil as Maaveeran.

The movie Chatrapathi starred Prabhas and Shriya Saran in the lead roles. A Sri Lankan refugee Chatrapathi rebelling against the injustice being done to them by powerful class, who treats refugees like slaves, is the base of the story backed with strong mother-sentiment plot.

Meanwhile, his recent movie Naan Ee starring Sudeep, Samantha and Nani has not only done wonderful business in the Telugu version, but also in the Tamil version.
