Surya-Lingusamy to join hands?

Surya and N Lingusamy are ready to join hands for the first time. The duo is teaming up for an action entertainer, which is expected to take off by the end of this year.

Grapevine has it that even though the news on Surya and N Lingusamy joining hands has not been officially announced, there are reliable reports, which have confirmed the news. Versatile actor Prakash Raj, who had earlier worked with Surya in a few films including superhit Singam, will be playing an important role in the upcoming movie.

As far as the female lead role is concerned, Lingusamy is trying to rope in an A-list actress. It is said that the director wants to cast Samantha. There are also chances of roping in Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra. The technical team comprises music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematographer Nirav Shah. Other details are yet to be revealed.

On the other end, Surya is currently busy with Maatraan directed by KV Anand. After the completion of this film, he will be taking up Hari's Singam 2.
