Thuppakki trailer records 3 lakh+ hits in one day

The trailer of Thuppakki has gone viral on internet. The official video-clip, which was released on Wednesday (October 10), has fetched 3 lakh plus hits on video-sharing website YouTube.

In just 24 hours, Thuppakki crossed three lakh views on YouTube. The fans of Vijay, who have been waiting to see the trailer for close to four months, have overwhelmingly welcomed the video. As of now, the clipping has been viewed 349,215 times on YouTube and it has good repeated views.

It has also to be noted that the trailer was trending on social networking sites like Twitter. While it became buzz words in Chennai on Twitter by 11 am, it took four more hours to become hot keywords searched by people in India.

However, the first trailer of Vijay's Thuppakki was released at the audio launch function of the movie at Sheraton Park Hotel, Chennai on Wednesday. The 41-second video-clip is short, sleek and punchy. As promised, the Thuppakki trailer has lived up to the expectations of the Vijay fans. In the video, Vijay speaks lesser than the bullets that he shoot at his enemies.
