awards
for
their
respective
roles
in
Deiva
Thirumagal
and
Mankatha.
While
the
former
won
the
hearts
of
the
audience
with
his
role
of
a
dim-witted
adult
in
AL
Vijay's
film,
the
latter
impressed
his
fans
in
the
role
of
an
out-and-out
crook
in
Venkat
Prabhu
directorial
film.
The
annual
Vijay
Awards
was
held
on
Sunday
(June
17)
at
the
Jawaharlal
Nehru
Indoor
Stadium.
The
awards
were
given
for
34
categories,
for
143
Tamil
films,
which
were
released
in
2011.
