Ilayathalapathy Vijay's name often start doing the rounds
whenever there are successful movies of other languages to be
remade in Tamil. Recently, there were buzz that the Tamil actor
would act in the Tamil version of Bollywood hit film Ek Tha
Tiger. Now, his name has appeared for the remake of Telugu
film Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, which was released just
two days ago.
There are reports that a few Tamil producers are keen to buy the
remake rights of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu. The first
choice of many is Vijay, as the role perfectly suits the actor. In
the past, Ilayathalapathy has done some hard-hitting roles and
traders believe that this could be his cup of coffee, as he is
interested to take a plunge into politics.
These kind of roles could boost his image in public and Vijay
could take up the project. However, the remake rights are yet to be
sold and the deal might happen in coming weeks.
Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu is a political entertainer
and it condemns several burning issues related to politics and
media. Puri Jagannath, who has penned the script for this movie,
has named the villains as Jawahar Naidu (Kota) and his son Ranababu
Naidu (Prakash Raj). There are several politically charged
dialogues written by Puri.
It has to be noted that Puri's earlier movie Pokkiri
Tamil version starred Vijay!
