It
has
happened
again.
Announcing
a
date
of
a
movie/audio
release
and
postponing
seems
to
have
become
a
trend
in
Kollywood
to
get
publicity.
In
recent
times,
we
have
seen
a
lot
of
movies
getting
delayed
for
some
reasons
and
now
Vijay's
Thuppakki
has
also
followed
the
same
path,
as
its
release
has
been
delayed
by
three
months.
The
latest
buzz
is
that
Thuppakki,
which
was
supposed
to
release
on
August
15,
has
been
postponed
to
Diwali.
It
means
the
movie
has
been
delayed
for
three
more
months.
Though
there
is
no
official
news,
a
confirmed
source
has
claimed
that
the
makers
of
the
film
have
decided
to
delay,
as
three
songs
are
yet
to
be
shot.
The
movie
has
earlier
garnered
a
good
publicity
when
it
was
unofficially
announced
by
the
makers
of
the
film
that
it
would
hit
the
screens
on
August
15.
It
became
a
matter
of
debate
on
online
forums
when
it
was
revealed
that
it
would
clash
against
Surya's
Maatraan,
which
was
also
supposed
to
release
on
the
same
date.
Nonetheless,
both
the
movies
have
been
postponed.
Traders
say
that
to
cash
in
on
festive
season,
the
makers
of
Thuppakki
have
decided
to
release
for
Diwali.
Meanwhile,
the
movie,
which
is
facing
title
issue,
will
have
its
first
look
release
shortly.
The
film
is
produced
by
Kalaipuli
S
Dhanu,
also
features
Kajal
Aggarwal,
Vidyut
Jamal,
Akshara
Gowda
and
others
in
the
cast.
