60th Idea South Filmfare Awards: Dhanush, The Showman

The 60th Idea South Filmfare awards 2013 was held in Hyderabad on Saturday, July 20. The event became a special day for Tamil film industry as the evening was filled with Stars, of all the four South film industry.

South Stars such as Shruti Hassan, Amala Paul, Anjali, Sharmila Mandre were seen rocking in the blissful evening. The crowd was driven crazy when Tamil's popular item numbers were played, 'Naku muka' and 'Ethir neechal', which charged the crowd.

Instead of South film awards it should have been named as Kollywood awards for a simple reason as Tamil films won maximum awards in the event. Tamil superstar Dhanush,who was basking in the success of Mariyaan, was the showman of the event. Dhanush won the prestigious black lady for the Best Actor and Singer for the movie 3.
