Aamir Khan Follows Shahrukh's Footsteps To Promote Dhoom 3 In TN
Aamir Khan seems to be following the footsteps of Shahrukh Khan to attract Tamil audience. The Bollywood actor, who is gearing up for the release of his prestigious Hindi flick Dhoom 3, will be in Chennai to promote the movie and to meet the local press today (December 17). This will be his second visit to Chennai after his last week's presence in the city to attend the 11th Chennai International Film Festival.
Hindi movies have hardly worked in the last decade in Tamil Nadu at the Box Office. Except a few notable movies, the films made in Bollywood did not have a good market here. But without efforts of some big banners and actors, B-Town films have started doing well. Shahrukh Khan stands tall among them because he took initiative to attract Tamil audience for his Ra.One. Not only he roped in superstar Rajinikanth, he came down to Chennai a few times to promote the flick. His footsteps was recently followed by Hrithik Roshan to promote his Krrish 3.

An official press release from the production house reads, "Yash Raj Films is pleased to invite you for a press conference with the director and cast of Dhoom 3 on 17th December." The event will happen at ITC Grand Chola at 6 pm in Chennai.
