The Bollywood star took some time out to meet the legendary Tamil filmmaker K Balachander. Aamir Khan spent 30 minutes with the director. It is said that Balachander wished him good luck for his forthcoming Hindi movie Dhoom 3.
"It was a courtesy meeting. KB sir and Aamir chatted for about thirty minutes and recalled their last meeting at an awards ceremony in Chennai. He wished the Bollywood Perfectionist for the release of Dhoom 3 and also congratulated his work on the television show Satyamev Jayate," Balachander's agent told IANS.
Aamir Khan and K Balachander had last met in 2008 at the Gollapudi Memorial Award ceremony in Chennai. In the same year, Aamir was presented the award for his directorial project Taare Zameen Par.
However, the Bollywood superstar, who is gearing up for the release of much-awaited movie Dhoom 3, came to Chennai to be part of the inaugural function of the 11th Chennai Film Festival.
He along with Kamal Hassan inaugurated the 11th Chennai Film Festival on December 12.
