Amala Paul Talks About Thalaivaa
Thalaivaa, which is released in Tamil Nadu by clearing all its hurdles, is rocking at the Box Office collection. The movie has Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles.
From the day of Thalaivaa's release issue started in Tamil Nadu, Vijay was in the limelight, he handled the issue and cleared all the barricades for movie's release. Amala Paul had also raised her voice in the issue and tweeted, "Praying along with the whole unit and Vijay fans that Thalaivaa will hit the big screen soon."
Apart from Vijay's acting, female lead Amala Paul was equally appreciated for her performance in the movie. By getting appreciation for her role and with the success of Thalaivaa, Amala Paul is on the cloud nine.
Talking about the movie, Amala said, "Everything happened very quickly in my life. There has been much appreciation and a lot of work coming my way. It's all been positive and I love the way my life has suddenly shaped up. I hope it sustains."
Amala also said that initially she liked the script, the role of a dancer in it who will be an undercover police officer. And also she was very happy when she got to know that she will be paired opposite to Ilayathalapathy Vijay.
Amala plays the role of a dancer, who will be the undercover police officer in Thalaivaa and finally marries Vijay in the end. Amala proudly says that her role has three dimensions in the movie.

Talking about Vijay, Amala said, "It is a dream come true for any heroine to work with Vijay. He doesn't mind giving as many takes if the director wants and never questions."

Vijay treated all of us with respect and we all were like one big family during the shoot, and said that she learned many things from the actor, mainly dedication.
She Got Enough Space
Amala says her role was well written. Normally in superstar films, heroines are mere eye-candy and will be there in some comedy, love scenes and three songs. But she got enough space in Thalaivaa script.
Decent Role
She says her role was a meaty role sans any glamour and there was no cleavage or midriff shown in any of the songs in Thalaivaa.
Police Role
Amala said, "In the first half I play this normal bubbly girl, but suddenly I had to don this uniform and look serious. I worked hard on body language and it was challenge."
Thalaivaa Release Controversy
She continued, "It's disheartening that all this happened. But it was my fans and friends all across the globe who kept me going, through their opinion and encouragement on Twitter."
Acting With Vijay
She added, "I always like to take up challenges and to match Vijay was not easy. He was very encouraging and I have to confess that it was extremely taxing for me. I even sprained my back but we were able to give the best results."
Secure Person
She said, "I am a secure person. I care only about my work and films. There are enough films for all of us and I am friendly with everyone."
