AR Murugadoss is returning to Bollywood with the remake of his Tamil film Thuppakki. His forthcoming Hindi movie stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha and it is titled as Pistol.
Now, the director, who had announced that he would be directing Illayathalapathy Vijay again, will be directing a Hindi film again. The movie will be produced by Fox Star Studios and it will hit the floors in 2014.
He had signed a three-film deal of Kollywood films with Fox Star Studios in 2011. Now, he is continuing his association further to direct a Hindi film. "Working with a studio like Fox Star Studios has been a good experience for me. We are moving our partnership to the next stage now. I'm happy to confirm that I will be directing a Hindi film with Fox next year," AR Murugadoss announced in a press release.
"Besides Tamil, we are also looking forward to moving our production partnership in Hindi market to give a chance to young directors with strong scripts," he added. Continue reading the story on the slideshow...
Their next film is Atlee Kumar's Raja Rani. The film starring Arya and Nayantara are making positive noise. The film will release in September 2013.
Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios is confident that their association with Murugadoss had worked well in Tamil cinema, and it will continue to be so with the Hindi movie as well.

"Murugadoss is one of the finest storytellers, a gifted filmmaker and a professional producer. We are looking forward to working with Murugadoss in Hindi cinema as well and promise a film to watch out for," he added. The genre of the film is yet to unveiled.

Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss, who entered Bollywood with Ghajini starring Aamir Khan, will be working with Vijay again. However, the director is yet to open up on this project.
