Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi is biggest hit in Tamil Nadu. The Telugu movie, which was released on September 27, has registered wonderful opening in the state, thereby proving that the Telugu star has a huge fan following in the Tamil-speaking state too.
According to traders, Attarintiki Daredi has collected more than Rs 6 crores at the Box Office in Tamil Nadu. The Telugu movie, in the opening weekend, raked in Rs 1.45 crore of which the Rs 1.05 crore is nett. share. The flick could have done a lot better if there was not any competition from the local movies.
The Tamil movies such as Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Onayum Attukuttiyum and Raja Rani gave tough fight to Attarintiki Daredi. The afore-mentioned Tamil films took away maximum screens, which made the Pawan Kalyan starrer movie to get less screens.
Yet, Attarintiki Daredi was released in above 40 screens in Tamil Nadu. The movie got the widest release for any Telugu movie in the recent history. And it clearly shows what the Powerstar of Telugu cinema is capable of, claims a trader.

Affected In Its Own Yard
Attarintiki Daredi hugely affected in its own territory Andhra Pradesh due to Seemandhra issue.
However, Attarintiki Daredi has reportedly collected more than Rs 60 crores worldwide.
Meanwhile, there were rumours that Attarintiki Daredi will be remade in Tamil. Illayathalapathy Vijay had expressed his interest over remaking it in Kollywood.

Well, sources close to him has denied it. Vijay has reportedly told that he would not star in any remake.
