Box Office Collection: Krrish 3 Survives The Tough Battle At TN
Ajith Kumar's Arrambam has emerged as the biggest winner at the Tamil Nadu Box Office this Diwali. Despite facing huge competition, the Tamil movie has managed to win the race with the collections of the flick setting new records. Indeed, the hype clipped the wings of other big releases Krrish 3 and Pandiya Nadu in the state.
While the biggest gainer during the festival in Tamil Nadu is Arrambam, the smallest gainer is Hindi movie Krrish 3. The Hrithik Roshan starrer movie could not get maximum screens due to Tamil releases like Arrambam and All in All Azhagu Raja in Tamil Nadu. But it is not the same case in Andhra Pradesh, as the Hindi flick did wonderful business in the first week.
Trade analyst Trinath says, "I don't remember any dubbed Hindi film collecting Rs 14.53 crore in its first week in AP and TN. The collection was better in Andhra because the film had a solo release, while in Tamil Nadu it had limited theatrical release due to the release of three Tamil films."

Arrambam and Pandiya Nadu Rule
Trinath adds that Arrambam and Pandiya Nadu are ruling the market in Tamil Nadu. "This is the first Friday of the year no Tamil film has released. Arrambam and Pandiya Naadu will continue to lead, while Krrish 3 can enjoy another week of run at Tamil Nadu Box Office."

It has to be noted that apart from the Hindi version, the dubbed versions of Tamil and Telugu have made decent business.
Telugu Version Better Than Tamil Version
"The Telugu dubbed version was received far better than the Tamil version. Since there was not a single release in Andhra Pradesh last week, but for Vishal's Telugu dubbed version of Pandiya Nadu, audiences had to watch Krrish 3," said Trinath.

The dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions have done Rs 6.2 crores at the Box Office in the opening week.

In Tamil Nadu, Krrish 3 is distributed by Shibu Thameens. He is happy as the Hindi movie managed to survive the tough battle.

According to traders, Krrish 3 was given such screens, which had limited capacity. But the only relief that came its way was the state government's permission to have five shows for single screens during the Diwali week.

Krrish 3 is a sequel to Krrish and Koi Mil Gaya. Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut are in the lead roles in the science-fiction movie.

Meanwhile, Krrish 3 has crossed Rs 200 crores at the Box Office. The collections have stunned the industry insiders.

On the other end, Arrambam is rocking at the Tamil Box Office. It has done good business in international circuits too.
