Confirmed: Kamal Hassan to work with Lingusamy
In the recent months, there have been a lot of rumours pertaining to the next project of Universal star Kamal Hassan. We have also been reading about N Lingusamy's future films. However, there were buzz in the last week that the director would be helming the Vishwaroopam star's next film. But nothing was confirmed as neither the director nor the actor was available for the confirmation.
Well, now, we have got a clear picture about Kamal-Lingusamy's project. The actor's PR has told a leading daily that the director has approached the actor for a film. The talks for the movie are on, but it is uncertain whether Lingusamy himself would helm the film or some other director would be directing the film for his home production Thirupathi Brothers.
"Yes, Kamal has been approached by Lingusamy's production house. However, the talks are still going on and it is unclear at this stage if the film will be directed by Lingusamy himself or if Kamal will act and direct in the film. There are also reports that Kannada actor and director Ramesh Aravind, who is a close friend of Kamal Hassan, would be helming the project produced by Lingusamy. It has to be noted that the Kannada star had earlier directed Sandalwood film Rama Shama Bhama, which was a remake of Sathi Leelavathy.

But Kamal Hassan's PR has denied the news and said that it is just a rumour. Reports say that it could take a few more weeks to get a clear picture on the project.
Kamal's Next: Vishwaroopam 2
On the other end, Kamal Hassan is working on Vishwaroopam 2, a sequel to Vishwaroopam. The shooting of the film is in progress and the movie is expected to hit the screens later this year.
Kamal's Hollywood Film
Earlier, Kamal Hassan had announced that he would be working with Lord of the Rings producer Barrie M Osborne for a Hollywood film. It was reported that he would be starting the film after the completion of Vishwaroopam.

However, we have not heard much of the Hollywood film in the recent months. With the talks of Kamal and Lingusamy joining hands, the proposed Hollywood film is likely to be postponed, believes the industry.
