It's an insult to Prabhu Deva: Dhanush

'Kolaveri di' hitmaker Dhanush is finding it difficult to learn Hindi language. The actor is making his Bollywood debut in Raanjhnaa.

Dhanush took classes from Hindi tutors, but he has still not been able to learn Hindi. However, he hopes that he will live up to people's expectations.

"I don't think I actually got it yet. I tried my best, it was tough of course there are lot of sounds that are not there in Tamil so I found it tough and I am still finding it tough. Hopefully, I will live up to Anand sir's expectation and off course of all yours (reporters) too," Dhanush said.

Raanjhnaa is directed by Anand L Rai. The film will hit the screens on June 21. The film is a beautiful romantic tale and features Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor opposite Dhanush.

During the conference of the film, the actor looked all in his cheerful mood. On public demand, he even showed his dance moves, but feels he is a poor dancer.

"That's ridiculous. Whatever movements I learnt, it took me a lot of time to learn. I am a very poor dancer," said the actor. Continue reading the story on the slideshow...

On being compared his dancing style to actor-director Prabhu Deva, Dhanush said, "Comparing me with him! He could have got a heart attack by now somewhere. It's an insult to Prabhu Deva, so please don't do it."

About his own dancing style, Dhanush said, "I can bring in a lot of energy when I dance, but that doesn't make me a good dancer."

On being asked, how he will strike a balance between his Tamil and Bollywood projects, if Raanjhnaa does well, he said, "I have not thought about it because its very early. I am still waiting for the film release."

"If, as you (reporter) said Raanjhnaa does well at the Box-Office, I will do one Tamil film and one Hindi film, honest answer," added the 29-year-old.
