Dhanush is a man known for making variety of films. Especially in the last few years, he has evolved as an actor. Thanks to his right choices that brought best out of him.
The actor is now gearing up for his debut Hindi film Raanjhnaa. "My priority really depends on the script, like which script appeals me the most, which script has challenges for me, which script can bring out the best in me," Dhanush says.
Dhanush started his career with film Thulluvadho Ilamai directed by his father Kasthuri Raja in 2002 and since then he has worked in over 28 Tamil films. The actor even won the National and Filmfare award for best actor for his performance in Tamil film Aadukalam.
On being asked, how he will strike a balance between his Tamil and Bollywood projects, Dhanush says that it all depends on Raanjhnaa. He claims, "I have not thought about it because its very early. I am still waiting for Raanjhnaa release."
"If, as you (reporter) said Raanjhnaa does well at the Box-Office, I will do one Tamil film and one Hindi film, honest answer," added the 29-year-old.
Raanjhnaa features Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor opposite Dhanush and hits the theatres on June 21.
Dhanush is working hard on his Hindi and has been learning the language with the help of tutors. But according to the actor, he has not mastered it yet.
So, what does his co-star Sonam Kapoor in Raanjhnaa think about him? "I think only Dhanush can become Raanjhnaa. He has got the innocence. I think there is nobody who has that spirit that is as clean (as his) over here (Bollywood)," said the 27-year-old in an interview.
"There is a lot of innocence and at the same time there is a lot of love in the way he approaches everything," added the actress.
On the other end, Dhanush is all set to launch his own music
label and it will be called - Wunderbar Studio.
"Hey guys, we have decided to launch our own music label soon under the name Wunderbar Studio. Will make an official announcement soon," tweeted the 29-year-old.
Dhanush's next Tamil film is Mariyaan, which is directed by Bharat Bala and produced by Aascar Ravichandran. He has also given a nod to star in Vetrimaran's next untitled film.
