Dhanush is busy promoting his forthcoming movie Ambikapathy, the Tamil version of his debut Bollywood movie Raanjhanaa. During the course, he has announced an interesting news. Well, he will be joining hands with Raanjhanaa director Anand L Rai again for a bilingual movie and the project will be produced by the 'Kolaver di' star himself.
The actor announced the news on his Twitter page on Friday (June 7). "It's final. (I'm) glad to announce that I'm doing a film with Anand L Rai in 2014, which will be a bilingual and will be produced by Wunderbar films and Anand," posted Dhanush on his Twitter page.
The actor, who is currently busy shooting for Tamil comedy Naiyaandi, will begin upcoming untitled Tamil project with director KV Anand soon. He is also awaiting the release of forthcoming Tamil romantic-drama Mariyaan.
In Raanjhanaa, Dhanush is paired opposite Sonam Kapoor. It also features Abhay Deol, Swara Bhaskar, Mohammad Zeeshan, Shilpi Marwaha and Suraj Singh. The film is Anand's second directorial venture after his hit Hindi film Tanu Weds Manu. Continue reading the news on the slideshow...
Why He Found It Difficult?
He further explains, "I don't think I actually got it yet. I tried my best, it was tough of course there are lot of sounds that are not there in Tamil so I found it tough and I am still finding it tough."
June 21 Release
Upon asking about AR Rahman's music, Dhanush claims, "According to me, Rahman sir is Raanjhanaa. He has given so much to the film. When you will watch the songs with the film you will understand what I am talking about." The love story is slated for release June 21 and has seven compositions by AR Rahman.
When asked Dhanush how he strikes a balance between his Tamil and Bollywood projects, he answered, "I have not thought about it because its very early. I am still waiting for the film release."
A Beautiful Romantic Tale
Ambikapathy or Raanjhanaa is a beautiful romantic tale and features Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor opposite Dhanush. It is the story of a Hindu boy who falls in love with a Muslim girl.
