Dhoom 3 has taken Chennai by storm. The film has beaten the local movies, thereby winning the Box Office battle in the state. Indeed, the four days collection is nothing but great in the market, which was restricted to only Kollywood until recent years.
The Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 was released in above 150 screens in Tamil Nadu and in about 80+ screens in Chennai alone. The screen count itself is a record for an Aamir Khan movie in the state. However, Dhoom 3 had 30+ shows and it witnessed, on an average, above 55% occupancy for the Hindi version in multiplexes. The Tamil version got decent response.
