Endrendrum Punnagai Preview

Jeeva and Trisha Krishnan have not had a great year so far as their earlier movies had bombed at the Box Office. Now, the duo, who has teamed up for the first time for Endrendrum Punnagai, is getting to change their fortunes with the latest Tamil movie, which is releasing this Friday (December 20).

Endrendrum Punnagai is a romantic comedy movie directed by I Mueenuddin Ahmed, who had earlier directed Vaamanan. The movie is clashing with other romantic movie Biriyani starring Karthi and Hansika Motwani, and directed by Venkat Prabhu.

The movie was in the news since 2011. Post Vaamanan, I Mueenuddin Ahmed had approached the Mugamoodi star, who was busy with multiple projects at that time. The director wished to cast Jeeva and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles and managed to get their approval for the Kollywood flick. Andrea Jeremiah was roped in later along with Vinay Rai. Santhanam, Nassar, Abhinay, Swaminathan and other are in the cast.

Endrendrum Punnagai is releasing in 275 screens in Tamil Nadu and it is believed that the film will hit the screens worldwide in about 700 theatres.
