While on the one end, the fans of Ajith Kumar are buzzing about their favourite star's birthday on social networking sites and wishing them on the special day, the general audience, who have been waiting for a good film to watch in the recent times, are talking about Dhanush's first home production Ethir Neechal.
Ethir Neechal is a comedy film starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand in the leads. The film directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar has a modern-day story but we cannot see cheap jokes, vulgar dialogues or inappropriate scene and it is not wonder that the film made by the young team has bagged clean 'U' certificate from the Regional Censor Board.
The early reports emerging from social networking sites and from various section indicate that the film has won the hearts of the audience. However, audience are unhappy to watch four songs in the first half and that has become a drawback of Ethir Neechal.

Highlights
Dhanush and Nayantara's special number 'Sathiyama ni enakku...' is a big hit among audience. They are welcomed by blowing whistles and cheering their names by the audience.
Anirudh Ravichander's 'Velicha poove va', 'Local boys' and 'Nijamellam maranthu pochu' stand out in the album. And his background score is excellent.
Highlights
Velraj's cinematography is brilliant and every frame in the first half is treat to watch.
Performances of lead stars Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand also impressive audience. They have a decent chemistry in the film. The director is being praised for getting the best out of the team.
