Gautham Menon-Simbu's Movie Takes Off

By Ramchander

Gautham Menon's last two movies (Yohan with Vijay and Dhruva Natchathiram with Surya) had created waves even before the official shooting of the movies had commenced. While the first-mentioned flick had a lavish photoshoot, the other had a grand muhurat. These two flicks had garnered good attention from media and audience, before it was put on the backburners.

Now, Gautham Menon seems to have learnt the lesson as he has started his next movie with Silambarasan without much hype. The shooting of the forthcoming Tamil flick was kick-started from Tuesday (November 12). The photoshoot of the film has been done, but the snaps have not been revealed yet.

The production house has confirmed the news that the shooting has been started. Silambarasan was seen shooting the untitled flick in the Adyar area, Chennai. Sources have said that it is not a sequel to Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. However, other details like the cast and the female lead of the forthcoming movie have not been revealed yet. People are eagerly looking forward to know the name of the music director as Menon's movies have always been a musical treat.

Sources add that it is a 10-day schedule where the shooting will happen in and around Chennai. The movie is produced by Gautham Menon himself under the banner Photon Kathas.
