Young
music
scorer
of
South
Indian
film
industry,
GV
Prakash
who
claimed
against
few
audio
companies
for
stealing
the
royalties
from
lyricists,
has
got
a
huge
support
from
Tamil
industry.
Recently
GV
Prakash
tweeted,
“Royalty
is
the
basic
right
of
a
creator
and
it
stays
with
him
or
her!
Trying
to
steal
that
from
them
is
cheap.”
Prakash
had
also
seek
the
support
from
senior
composers
and
lyricists
for
the
cause.
He
got
immense
response
for
the
issue
raised
by
him,
many
junior
composers
in
the
industry
have
supported
Prakash
for
the
cause.
Music
composers
take
their
stand
by
saying
that
the
agreement
is
the
one
that
deprives
them
by
earning
royalty
for
the
music
composed,
whereas
they
are
the
sole
owners
of
the
song
which
they
have
composed.
Apart
from
this,
Executives
from
audio
industry
say,
already
they
are
paying
more
for
the
composers
to
get
the
content,
by
fighting
against
piracy
the
business
has
reached
pathetic
condition.
In
this
situation
it
is
not
possible
to
pay
additional
royalty
for
the
composers.
GV
Prakash,
also
focused
on
the
new
composers
and
lyricists,
by
saying,
“Leave
the
established
composers
and
lyricists,
what
will
be
the
condition
of
the
composers
who
are
new
to
industry.”
Senior
lyricists
like,
Na
Muthukumar,
Thamarai,
Yugabharathi
and
writer's
union
are
discussing
the
issue
with
concerned
authorities.

Not
fair
!
Some
action
should
be
taken
by
the
music
union
!
And
the
elder
music
directors
should
join
together
and
protest
against
malpractices
!

a
solution

this
ongoing

in
order
to
protect
our
rights.
Thank
you
@gvprakash

bringing
this

The
right
time
to
start
and
fight
for
the

This
would
be
a

I

considering
the

we

the
