Hard Kaur set for her Tamil debut

By Ramchander

Young sensation Anirudh Ravichander seems to be leaving no stone unturned to make the album of forthcoming Tamil film Vanakkam Chennai big. After roping in Britain-based R&B singer Arjun Coomaraswamy, he has now roped in British Indian rapper and hip-hop singer Hard Kaur to croon a number in the film.

The musician has also signed Chennai-based rapper Aadhi of Hiphop Tamizha to sing a song in the album. "Vanakkam Chennai will feature Arjun from the UK (Britain), Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, Pragathi from 'Super Singer', Hard Kaur and many more surprises," Ravichander posted on his Twitter page.

While Ravichander is famous for composing the R&B cover version of the song 'Why this kolaveri di...' and other mixes such as 'Chaiyya chaiyya...' and 'Chamak challo...', Aadhi is known for his hit single 'Club le Mabbu' from debut album Hiphop Tamizhan.

Indo-Britain rapper Hard Kaur is known for songs such as 'Ek glassy...' and 'Paisa phek' from Johnny Gaddar. She is quite popular for her hit club number 'Talli...' from Ugly Aur Pagli.

Vanakkam Chennai is directed by debutante Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, and it features Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles. Santhanam, Rahul Ravindran and Urvashi will be seen in important roles.
