Music director Harris Jayaraj seems to be not providing background score for Irandaam Ulagam. This has come as a shocker to the whole industry and audience, as the album, which was released in August, has become a big hit. Now, the makers of the film are in search of his replacement and 'Kolaver di' hitmaker Anirudh Ravichander is the first choice.
According to reports, Harris Jayaraj is tied up with multiple projects, which is keeping him very busy. The music director reportedly told director Selvaraghavan that he could not finish the background score anytime soon. It is said that Harris could only commence the work in 2014 for the movie, which stars Arya and Anushka Shetty in the leads, due to his other commitments.
Unconfirmed reports say that Harris Jayaraj has not composed background score for a single movie in the last 10 months. His last movie was in 2012 for Thuppakki.
It has to be noted that Irandaam Ulagam has been very delayed and the budget has crossed their limitations. Delaying further would turn costly for the PVP, the makers of the movie. Hence, Selvaraghavan decided to rope in another musician to finish the uncompleted job. After considering a few, the director zeroed in on young musician Anirudh Ravichander.
