Her Kollywood fans have been craving to see her hot numbers and it was believed that the actress would not return soon, as she was not doing special numbers in her stronghold - Telugu film industry. Well, the good news is that the wait is over, as she is making her comeback to Tamil films.
Yes, Mumaith Khan is doing an item number in forthcoming Tamil movie Arya Surya. The item number was shot a few days ago in Chennai. A source says,"Mumaith was happy to return and she was as energetic as ever. She was really happy to be part of the special number, which offered her some tough dancing steps,"
Interestingly, the item number also features multifaceted T Rajender, the father of actor Silambarasan. Sources add that Mumaith Khan was excited to dance alongside the senior actor but she had some difficulties...what is it? Find it on the slideshow...
However, she had a great and challenging experience. Sources claim,"Though Mumaith Khan felt it was very tough to match T Rajender's pace, she took it as a challenging and did a wonderful job."

T Rajender Does One-man Show!
Interestingly, the song is written, composed and crooned by T Rajender himself. However, it was earlier said that Powerstar Dr Srinivasan was supposed to dance for the number but as the latter is in jail, the movie bosses asked Rajender to shake his legs.
Rajender Replaced Powerstar?
Well, the director Ramanarayanan denies it and says that T Rajender has not replaced the Powerstar. "We began the shoot with Power Star Srinivasan, after the release of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya. Later, an idea popped up and we approached TR for the film," the Times of India quotes the director as saying.
He concludes, "Srinivasan has acted in a few scenes and has also shot for a song, which has him shaking a leg to an item number with Mumaith Khan."
