Irandam Ulagam First Weekend Collections

Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam has opened up to mixed reviews from Tamil film critics. The movie was released last Friday (November 22) with a huge hype, but it appears like the flick has not lived up to the audience expectations as people have given thumbs down to the movie in large numbers on social networking sites. Nonetheless, it has registered a good collection at the Tamil Box Office in the opening weekend.

Irandam Ulagam has made a wonderful business in the first weekend at Tamil Box Office. It has raked in close to Rs 7 crores (Unconfirmed). The good pre-talk around the movie helped the Tamil flick to garner good collections. Not to forget, Arya and Anushka Shetty's fan following flocked to theatres in good numbers that made the movie to make good business.

In Chennai, Irandam Ulagam collected close to Rs 2.50 crores in the first weekend. Meanwhile, the early reports say that the movie has got a warm reception at the International Box Office. On the other end, the Telugu version titled Varna has done a decent business. The Tollywood version got negative reviews and on social networking sites, it was badly blasted by the audience.

Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam stars Arya and Anushka Shetty in the key roles. It is produced by PVP Cinemas.
