Vikram Prabhu's second movie Ivan Vera Mathiri has opened up to good reviews from critics. The movie was released on Friday (December 13) in above 300 screens and has got good response from the audience.

It is one of the most expected movies of the month of December as it is a crucial film for both Vikram Prabhu and director M Saravanan. As their earlier movies had done well, people were curiously looking forward for Ivan Vera Mathiri.

Like any star's movie, Ivan Vera Mathiri got good opening in Chennai and many theatres witnessed a near-packed house. The film has also reasonably done well at overseas markets.

On social networking sites, Ivan Vera Mathiri received positive talks in large numbers. But many gave three ratings out of five. The performance of Vikram Prabhu has been praised along with the action quotient in the film. Newcomer Surabhi has also been grandly welcomed with good words by the audience and critics.
