Kai Po Che to have Tamil remake?

UTV Motion Pictures has been remaking successful Hindi movies into Tamil and vice-versa. The production house is currently making Tamil version of Delhi Belly and taking Kollywood film Vettai to Hindi. It also has plans to remake last year hit movie Barfi. Continuing this trend, now it is game for the remake of Kai Po Che.

Latest trade reports confirm that the UTV South division is fancying the idea of remaking last week release Kai Po Che. G Dhananjayan, Chief-South Business, Disney-UTV Motion Pictures, was asked by his Twitter followers whether they have plans to remake it in Tamil for which he wrote, "Kai Po Che is one of the finest.films on the life of three friends like #Nanban. It will certainly work if we have a good director + cast:-)"

Kai Po Che stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav, Amit Sadh and Amrita Puri in the lead roles. The film directed by Abhishek Kapoor is based on the novel 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life' written by Chetan Bhagat. The film has done an amazing business at the Box Office and has garnered positive response from various quarters.

Director N Lingusamy, who saw the film recently, praised the movie on Twitter. He wrote, "Kai Po Che - Hindi Movie. A good film after a long gap. Cinematography, Music, Direction all good.."
