Kalanjiyam denies harassing Anjali
Anjali has shocked the industry by accusing her step-mother Bharathi Devi and director Kalanjiyam of torturing her and swindling her money.
The 20-something actress has always accompanied by Bharathi Devi for shootings and film events. Till now, people in the industry believed that she is the mother of Anjali. But it is only now we have been revealed that the former is the step-mother of the actress.
The Settai girl has claimed that her step-mother uses her as an ATM machine. She adds that Kalanjiyam advises her step-mother on her career matters and that has created a lot of troubles. As a result, she has flown to Hyderabad.

Kalanjiyam has known the family for 10 years and he too is shocked to hear that Bharathi Devi is the step-mother of Anjali. The director claims that he had seen the childhood photographs of the actress with her brothers and mother.
The Director's Fear
Now, he is worried because he has signed Anjali for his forthcoming movie Oor Suttri Puranam. The actress was part of the shooting for 15 days. She was supposed to rejoin the shoots in May and with Anjali's sudden outbursts, he fears that the actress would create trouble to continue the shoots.

On the other end, rumour mills say that Kalanjiyam is the source of all troubles and this controversy. Nonetheless, the picture is not clear now.

Meanwhile, Anjali has reportedly decided to be in Hyderabad and temporarily bid goodbye to Tamil films. According to her, the actress' life is in threat and she fears that they would attack her if she comes to Chennai.
