Kamal
Hassan's
Vishwaroopam
2
seems
to
be
finally
ready
to
appear
before
audience.
The
movie,
which
was
supposed
to
hit
the
screens
for
Pongal,
has
avoided
clash
with
Ajith
Kumar's
Veeram
and
Vijay's
Jilla.
Hence,
the
release
has
been
pushed
to
February.
Sources
say
that
Vishwaroopam
2
will
release
in
February
2014.
The
movie
is
likely
to
hit
the
screens
in
the
second
week
of
the
month.
The
film
bosses
are
yet
to
officially
announce
the
news
but
they
have
started
booking
theatres
for
February.
The
distribution
rights
of
Vishwaroopam
2
is
in
huge
demand
and
the
rights
of
Kerala
and
Karnataka
have
been
sold.
While
Kaaleshwari
Films
has
acquired
the
rights
of
the
Kerala
region,
Ganesh
Pictures
has
bought
the
rights
of
the
Karnataka
region.
Vishwaroopam
2
is
a
spy-thriller,
which
is
a
sequel
to
Vishwaroopam.
The
first
instalment
was
released
earlier
this
year
and
created
a
big
controversy.
The
state
government
had
banned
the
film
for
a
few
weeks
before
lifting
it
after
the
movie
bosses
agreed
to
delete
a
few
scenes
that
hurt
a
section
of
community.
The
movie
directed
by
Kamal
Hassan
himself
features
Pooja
Kumar,
Andrea
Jeremiah,
Shekhar
Kapoor,
Rahul
Bose
and
others
in
the
cast.
