Karthi's daughter's name is Umayaal

Karthi became a proud father of a baby girl on January 11th 2013. After taking more than two months time, the actor's family has finally finalised the name for the new arrival. Well, they have reportedly named the baby as Umayaal, a name of Goddess Parvathi.

The buzz says that Umayaal is a name of Parvathi. The Sivakumar family was specific about having a traditional name and this name was liked by all. The naming ceremony is likely to happen soon, claim reports.

It is well-known that Karthi's brother Surya and Jyothika are blessed with two babies - Diya and Dev. However, Karthi married Ranjani Chinnasamy, an English literature graduate, on July 3, 2011 in Coimbatore. Unlike his brother, he opted for an arranged marriage.

On the professional front, Karthi is busy with Venkat Prabhu's directorial film Biriyani. Soon after this film, he will be taking up All in All Azhagu Raja, directed by M Rajesh.
