Naiyaandi: Dhanush's Song To Release Tomorrow

'Teddy bear' song, which was seen in the teaser of Naiyaandi, will be released as a single tomorrow, September 17, 2013. In teaser, Dhanush was seen singing along with few children, who will be taking part in the reality show contest.

Talking about the song, Ghibran, who has composed music for Naiyaandi, said, "Sarkunam wanted a playful song for a fun situation in the film. He likes 'Amma wake me up' from Vathikuchi and asked for something that is as experimental and fun. I didn't really expect him to approve this tune when I played it to him because it is more contemporary with dubstep, glitch and 8-bit elements. But he loved the song instantly and approved it."

Dhanush contesting with the kids is the main highlight of the teaser, which grabbed the audience attention with its zippy tunes. Naiyaandi has Dhanush and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. It is directed by Sarkunam.

After crooning his voice for 'Teddy bear,' Dhanush tweeted, "Singing a song for Naiyaandi today. Very different from what I ve sung till now. Gibrans music is very unpredictable. Hope u guys will like it."

National award winner Dhanush has grabbed, Best Playback Singer and Best Lyricist award for the movie 3, in South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2013.
