Rajinikanth, the superstar of Tamil films, is turning a year older today (December 12). The actor, who started his career as a small-time villain, has one of the biggest fan followers worldwide. Yet he has remained a humble, simple and down-to-earth person, which puts him above among his competitors.
Having born in a Maharashtrian family to mother Jijabai and
father Ramoji Rao Gaekwad, his original name was Shivaji Rao
Gaekwad. He was brought up in Bangalore along with two older
brothers and a sister. As the economic condition in their family
was not good, he was forced to do odd jobs at young age.
Rajinikanth had a passion for acting from his school days. He
used to participate in dramas and other cultural programmes. He was
