Tamanna Bhatia has paired up with namma Ajith Kumar for the first time. She is romancing the Thala in forthcoming Tamil movie Veeram. This film also marks the come-back flick of the glam doll in a full-fledged role after Venghai with Dhanush in 2011.

Post the success of Paiyaa, Tamanna Bhatia was showered with a lot of offers from Telugu film industry. In between, she got opportunities to work in Bollywood. This lead her to stay away from Tamil films for two years even though she did a cameo in Jeeva starrer Ko in 2011.

It was also said that Tamanna Bhatia waited for a good offer from Kollywood and as she did not come across any. Hence the actress did not sign a single Tamil movie in a few years. When the Veeram offer knocked her doors, she grabbed it with both hands, as she did not want to miss the opportunity of working with Ajith Kumar. Hence, she signed the flick amidst being busy in other industries.

However, Veeram will release for Pongal. It is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Vijaya Productions. The audio of the flick will release in December.
