Pizza Creator Wishes Good Luck To Pizza 2: Villa Team

Karthik Subbaraj, who had directed Tamil superhit horror-thriller Pizza, is extremely happy that the Pizza franchise is continuing and has wished the team of Pizza 2: Villa luck and success.

Pizza 2: Villa, which is slated to release on Thursday (November 14), is not a sequel to Pizza, but has been made to keep the Pizza franchise flag flying.

"Following the success of Pizza, I'm really glad that producer CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment has extended his support to a new director to continue the franchise with Pizza 2: Villa. I wish this team great success," read a statement issued on behalf of Karthik.

CV Kumar, who produced Pizza, has also funded the second instalment on the franchise too. Debutant Deepan Chakravarthy has directed Pizza 2: Villa. The movie features Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles. Nasser and SJ Surya are playing key roles in the forthcoming Tamil flick.

Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music for Pizza 2: Villa. He has composed six tracks for which Ganesh Kumar and Arun Raja have penned the lyrics. Deepak Kumar is the cinematographer and Leo John Paul is the editor.

Ashok plays the role of an aspiring writer and Sanchita Shetty will be playing the character of a Christian girl.
